London Wedding Photographer – Ben Joseph Wedding Photography

London Wedding Photographer – Reportage & Documentary Wedding Photography in the UK

Ben Joseph is a professional fine art London wedding photographer and portrait photographer. Over the last 16 years he has photographed throughout London and the UK, in such venues as The Old Naval College in Greenwich, Eltham Palace, Syon House, Goodwood House, Blenheim Palace and St Paul’s Cathedral, to name a few.

He is an accredited photographer at Syon House, Dulwich College, the Royal Society of Arts, Horniman Museum, the Trafalgar Tavern and Stationers Hall. Ben’s subtle observational style is well suited to modern couples who prefer a creative approach to wedding photography. Reportage wedding photography has developed and gained momentum over the last 15 years and now clients much prefer an unobtrusive approach on their wedding day over staid, set-up pictures.

Having said that, there is a need for some photographic direction from time

to time, but not to the point of contriving scenarios where the situation becomes unnatural.

Clients often respond best to the pictures that are taken without their realisation. Shooting intuitively Ben works with available light, anticipating where to be, for the best angles and engaging compositions. This comes with experience. Ben graduated from one of the country’s best art colleges (W.S.C.A.D), where he learnt about photographic narrative, how to control and use light correctly and the importance of effective design and presentation.

Ben enjoys producing gallery quality framed prints for his clients, so the pictures can be seen and enjoyed rather than being forgotten in virtual storage. Based in Hither Green near Blackheath in South London, Ben is available for wedding and portrait commissions in London, UK and abroad.
